The HOSA John Blossman Memorial Garden
Creating & maintaining beautiful spaces in Ocean Springs
The HOSA John Blossman Memorial Garden in Shearwater Park was created by HOSA in 2012, in memory of our generous member and community leader John Blossman. The garden area is popular with residents and visitors as a wonderful places to enjoy the flowers, the picturesque Inner Harbor area, its many roosting and flying birds, butterflies, and other wonders.
HOSA partners with the energetic members of the Jackson County Master Gardeners group in the care of this beautiful outdoor space. Thanks to the talented members of JCMG, The Blossman Garden has never looked better!
And also thanks to JCMG, The HOSA John Blossman Memorial Garden is now a Certified Monarch WayStation, and appears in the national WayStation registry. HOSA is happy to report that in May of this year the Jackson County Master Gardeners were awarded 1st place honors for Outstanding Project of the Year from the State Master Gardeners Association for their accomplishments and efforts in The HOSA John Blossman Memorial Garden. Congratulations, friends!
